Introduction

IT Career Switch is a leading UK-based training provider helping individuals transition into careers in IT and Cyber Security. We support thousands of active learners and deliver structured pathways into roles such as IT Technician, Network Engineer, and Cyber Security Analyst.

We are expanding our tutor team and are looking for experienced IT professionals to support our students through their technical training.

Salary: £750 per month
Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:30am – 5:30pm (UK time)

  • Weekends off

Holiday

  • 21 days annual leave

  • Plus full time off over Christmas & New Year

Duties & Responsibilities

As an IT Tutor, you will support students studying our IT Technical courses, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical assistance throughout their learning journey.

You will be working with learners across a range of certifications, including:

  • CompTIA A+

  • CompTIA Network+

  • CompTIA Security+

  • CompTIA CySA+

  • Cisco CCNA

  • Microsoft Azure (Fundamentals & Associate level

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of one or more of the following:

    • IT Support / Helpdesk

    • Networking (CCNA level preferred)

    • Cyber Security fundamentals

    • Cloud technologies (Azure preferred)

  • Certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+) or Cisco CCNA are highly desirable

  • Excellent spoken and written English (essential)

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection

  • Laptop or desktop suitable for remote work

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience

  • Experience working in a helpdesk, NOC, SOC, or IT support role

  • Passion for helping others start a career in IT

  • Certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+) or Cisco CCNA are highly desirable
