Description

Role Overview:

Take the opportunity to work on exciting international and remote projects, including in Nigeria and the Solomon Islands, while leading teams, developing your skills, and contributing to impactful construction outcomes.

We are seeking several experienced Foreman to lead and coordinate on-site teams. The Foreperson will ensure construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project plans, specifications, budgets, and timelines. This role plays a key part in achieving performance targets while supporting site safety, quality, and environmental standards, and proactively identifying potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all features of construction project from planning to implementation.
  • Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.  
  • Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.  
  • Organising tools, plant, machinery, materials and workers, and supervising construction activities 
  • Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.  
  • Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager. 


Skills And Experiences

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade Qualification in a relevant field and 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably in a leadership role managing site operations.  
  • Familiarity with all trades and different construction contracts and methodologies.  
  • Innovative problem solving, time management, organisation and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Active listening and solid verbal and written communication.  
  • Must have construction white card and be tech savvy.
