VRS is looking to add an Outside Sales Account Manager to our team. The territory for this role will be the New England area.
Position Summary
Responsible for achieving ambitious sales goals and objectives for key veterinary practices within the assigned territory, developing strong relationships, and increasing brand recognition and adoption.
Responsibilities
Analyze and summarize competitor information and trends to identify sales opportunities
Utilize product and industry knowledge to educate doctors and staff members on benefits of VRS products
Secure participation of veterinarians for dinners, speaker programs, lunch and learns, etc
Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to implement VRS products and business model into accounts within assigned account base and territory
Update and maintain prospect and customer records in VRS's information management system(s)
Review program performance with participating veterinarians regularly and take corrective action when needed to increase sales
Prepare and submit activity reports within established time frame
Increase sales revenue from customer base by identifying cross sell opportunities

2-4 years of experience required
3+ years of veterinary sales experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong presentation skills, including virtual presenting
Ability to travel within assigned territory; up to 5% travel outside of territory
Excellent written and communication skills
Valid DMV issued driver's license required
